🦋About Immigrant Youth Fellowship:
The Immigrant Youth Fellowship (IYF) Program is a 15-week paid fellowship for first-generation, low-income immigrant and undocumented individuals, to increase career and professional roles in social justice.
Through the fellowship, the IE-IYC will continue to increase immigrant youth leadership and sustain their agency to organize with communities and in decision-making spaces.

Our second annual cohort has the honor of partnering with IE local organizations to host fellows. Please see more information below. Total # of Fellowship Positions: 4
- Inland Empire Immigrant Youth Collective (IEIYC): Our mission is to engage youth to gain equal access to higher education and professional development and to seek justice for the immigrant community by empowering those most impacted by unjust policies.
- Inland Empire United (IE United): IE United is committed to influencing change in the Inland Empire through direct issue advocacy and political action.
- The Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice ( CCAEJ): CCAEJ is a progressive equity-based organization that embodies hope, unites people y pueblos, to create intersectional solutions that transform communities “to bring people together to improve their social and natural environment.” Utilizing the lens of environmental health, we achieve regenerative change by developing resilient BIPOC intergenerational leadership, through the power of community base-building. Through strategic campaigns, we cultivate inclusive self-sustaining neighborhoods, where everyone can live, work, play, and thrive.
- Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice (IC4IJ): IC4IJ is dedicated to convening organizations to collectively advocate and work to improve the lives of immigrant communities while working toward a just solution to the immigration system
🦋Eligibility Requirements:
- Availability for Program Timeline
- Part-Time Commitment of 15 hrs per week for 15-weeks from: February 24, 2025 to June 07, 2025
- Availability for Onboarding Retreat: February 18, 19 & 21 from 10am-4pm in Ontario & Riverside, CA.
- A commitment to the Immigrant Youth Movement in the Inland Empire
- Resident of San Bernardino County, Riverside County, or Pomona Valley
- Between the ages of 18-24, must be 18 yrs old by the time of acceptance.
- Must have an active ITIN or SSN by the time of IYF's acceptance notice
- Reliable transportation is required
🦋 Program Details:
- Application Deadline: January 10, 2025
- Notice of Selection: First or Second Week of February
- Onboarding Retreat: February 18, 19 & 21 in Ontario & Riverside
- Program Timeline: February 24, 2025 - June 07, 2025
- Monthly Workshops: March, April, May
- Part-time hours: 15 hrs per week
- Host Site Locations: Inland Empire
- Hybrid Commitment
- Stipend amount: $5,500 (will be given in monthly increments)
